Directions to locations in and around Half Moon Bay.

Montara State Beach
Traveling 6 miles north, of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1, turn west on Young Ave. Park in the designated lot on the west side of Highway 1 at 2nd Street.

Fitzgerald Marine Reserve
Traveling 5 miles north, of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1, turn west on Cypress Avenue at the Moss Beach Distillary sign. Follow the road left onto Airport Blvd after the Seal Cove Inn. Turn right on Marine Blvd.and go a short way to a "T", Beach Way. Follow the right side of the "T" and park across from the back entrance to the Marine Reserve. You'll see a little unmarked entrance area and you follow path with the ocean on your left up to a Cypress Grove with a fence on the ocean side that faces the ocean.

There is another entrance to the Reserve. It's easier to find than the other access, but it's not as easy to get to the location for the ceremony. Instead of turning on Cypress Avenue, go a 100 yards further and turn left on California Avenue. Proceed to the Reserve parking lot . After parking, as you face the Reserve Ranger Station there is a path back near California Avenue that goes over the creek. After crossing the creek proceed up the dirt path until you get to the top and the area for ceremonies is by the Cypress. trees.

Naples/Roosevelt Beach
Traveling 1.4 miles north, of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1, turn west on Young Ave. At the guard hut turn right to get to th sourth end of the parking lot. There are paths to the beach from either end of the final parking lot.

Dunes Beach
Traveling 1.4 miles north, of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1, turn west on Young Ave. At the guard hut turn left and go to the middle of the parking lot by the restrooms.

Venice Beach
Traveling 1 mile north, of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1, turn west on Venice Boulevard. After the guard hut turn lef and go to the first parking lot by the restrooms.

Francis Beach
From Highway 1, turn west on Kelly Avenue (south of Highway 92) in Half Moon Bay. Location of Half Moon Bay State Beach headquarters office.

Poplar Beach
From Highway 92, turn left onto Highway 1, then turn west on Poplar Avenue in Half Moon Bay. At the parking lot proceed left on the paved path and cross the little bridge. Or proceed down to the beach opposite the parking lot.

Miramontes Point Rd - Near the Ritz-Carlton
From Highway 92 turn left onto Highway 1, then turn west on Miramontes Point Road at the Ritz-Carlton sign, 1 mile south of Half Moon Bay. Proceed down the path from the south end of the parking lot.

San Gregorio State Beach
From Highway 92, turn left onto Highway 1 and proceed 12 miles south of Half Moon Bay to Highway 84/La Honda Road in San Gregorio. Park in the lot just past La Honda Road.

Pomponio State Beach
Highway 1, south of Highway 84/La Honda Road & north of Pescadero Road.Information: California State Department of Parks & Recreation, 800-444-7275.

Pescadero State Beach
From Highway 92, turn left onto Highway 1 and proceed 17 miles south of Half Moon Bay to 1/4 mile before Pescadero Road. Park in the lot.

Bean Hollow State Beach & Pebble Beach
From Highway 92, turn left onto Highway 1 and proceed 18 miles south of Half Moon Bay. Park at Pebble Beach or Bean Hollow State Beach.
